Welcome to St. Patrick's Parish Web site. This Parish is the sole English-speaking Catholic parish in the Archdiocese of Québec and it provides spiritual and religious ministrations to the Anglophones of our city and surroundings. It is located in the heart of Québec, not far from the walled City, with easy access to the historic sites that have made Quebec famous worldwide.


But apart from its great location, the hallmark of St. Patrick's is the kindness and warmth of its parishioners. Although a close-knit community, it is immensely hospitable and welcoming to travelers and tourists, all fellow Roman Catholics. They remember that their ancestors, fleeing from the potato famine in Ireland in the mid-nineteen century, were welcomed with open arms by the French population of Québec City. Many families adopted Irish orphans whose descendants now comprise the bulk of St. Patrick's parishioners and they pride themselves in showing the same hospitality and generosity that was given to their great-grandparents.
